Article or substance which, when airborne, can constitute a risk to health, safety, property and the environment. Are considered hazardous materials, according to ICAO Doc 9284-AN/905:
Class 1 - Explosives;
Class 2 - Gases compressed, liquefied or dissolved under pressure cooled to low temperatures;
Class 3 - Flammable liquids;
Class 4 - Flammable solids, substances liable to spontaneous combustion and substances which on contact with water, flammable gases;
Class 5 - Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides;
Class 6 - Poisonous (toxic) and infectious;
Class 7 - Radioactive material;
Class 8 - Corrosives, and
Class 9 - Miscellaneous dangerous items.

In accordance with the instructions contained in ICAO Doc 9284-AN/905 is FORBIDDEN transport aircraft, the articles listed below under any circumstances:

• explosives that ignite or decompose when exposed to a
• 75 ° C for 48 hours;
• Explosives containing chlorate or ammonium salts;
• Explosives containing a mixture of chlorate with phosphorus;
• Explosives solids classified as very sensitive to mechanical shock;
• Explosive liquids classified as moderately sensitive to shocks
• mechanics;
• Any substance to produce heat or gas under conditions normally found in air transport;
• Liquid radioactive and / or pyrophosphoric;
• Flammable solids and organic peroxides, and, when tested, explosive properties and which are packaged so that the classification procedure requires the use of a label with the ID "EXPLOSIVE" as an additional label at risk, and
• Articles or substances which have a mass explosion hazard.




Perishable cargoes are those that can deteriorate if exposed to temperature changes, moisture and harsh environmental conditions during air transport. Can only be performed this type of transport provided the material has the validity period of at least 72 hours, attested on the date of shipment, the letterhead of the company. The validity period for transportation must be declared on all orders, especially in cases of vaccines, serums and materials for testing. Packages must be appropriate to the nature of the cargo, not allowing fluid leaks, accidental opening, viscosity, residue or odor. Ex: Fresh fish, in general, Edible flowers, fruits and vaccines. Documentation: Note (s) supervisor (s), beyond the specific documentation for each product type:-Live plants: phyto sanitary certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture-Animal products: health certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture.
